In-house grinding
The addition of two universal grinding machines enables internal and external grinding and the delivery of fully restored, ready-to-install parts.
Diversification
Surface grinding completes the service offering. The company begins serving the mold-making, hydraulic, pneumatic, food processing, oil and medical equipment sectors.
Technical training
Specialized courses at the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) and industry-specific training with clients such as Nestlé and Aerolíneas Argentinas.
Proprietary process
Development of a proprietary chrome plating process for heavy-duty agricultural components, significantly extending their service life.
Entry into aviation
Initial minor repair services for aviation companies, progressively expanding to more complex components.
FAA certification
Agro Crom obtains the FAA Foreign Repair Station certificate, which it has maintained without interruption ever since.
Heredia 564
Relocation to a purpose-built facility in Buenos Aires and the start of work with global leaders such as Lufthansa Technik.
Regional airlines
Expansion to complex components for Aerolíneas Argentinas, LAN Chile, PLUNA and LAPA, and development of proprietary, patented processes.
International presence
Processes updated to current environmental standards, increased capacity and customers on five continents, with more than 4,000 aeronautical components processed in the last two years.
